FUE – The Superior Procedure

There are many types of hair restoration & replacement processes, from strip harvesting to low-level laser therapy. The Follicular Unit Extraction process of hair restoration is a hair-by-hair transplantation process that uses the patient’s own hair. With FUE, individual follicles are removed instead of a whole strip, and this can be done manually or using robotic, punch technology equipment.

The SmartGraft Hair Removal Solution

it’s time to get smart about hair restoration

SmartGraft’s hair restoration approach uses punch graft FUE technology and features a lightweight hand-piece that is used to make tiny holes to remove individual follicular units of hair. The tiny openings heal rapidly and are not visible within a few days.

Simple, touchscreen technology allows you to easily adjust the punch rotation speed, vacuum level and graft count.

Most importantly, SmartGraft can do nearly twice the amount of grafts as the strip harvesting method in just over half the time. Whereas strip harvesting takes 10 hours or longer to pull and install 1,200 grafts, SmartGraft can safely do 2,000 grafts in approximately seven hours.

One of the most impressive aspects of the SmartGraft machine is the completely closed, environmentally-controlled harvesting platform that eliminates the need to manually moisten or empty grafts. This leads to increased graft preservation and viability, and higher levels of safety and efficacy.
